VIV Asia 2025 officially opened its doors on March 12, 2025, becoming the premier international trade exhibition for professionals in animal protein production. The event, set to run until March 14, 2025, is co-located with Meat Pro Asia and Horti Agri Next Asia, and it is attracting over 50,000 attendees and 1,250 exhibitors from across the globe. Hosted at IMPACT, Bangkok, Thailand, the event provides a dynamic platform for business development, innovation, and networking across the entire “Feed to Food” supply chain.

In his opening speech, Jeroen Van Hooff, CEO & President of Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs, underscored the event’s role in Asia’s agricultural growth and its pivotal impact on global food production. With Asia contributing over 50% of global agricultural output, VIV Asia is seen as a catalyst for innovation, partnerships, and economic growth in the agri-food and animal health sectors.

Also attending were dignitaries such as Mr. Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, Senior Vice President of the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), who emphasized Thailand’s leadership role in Industry 4.0 and the economic impact of this exhibition. H.E. Mr. Prasert Chanthararuangthong, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, further highlighted the government’s initiatives, such as the Food Processing Industry Development Action Plan, designed to enhance Thailand’s position as ASEAN’s food processing hub.
