The second season of Aboitiz Foods’ Agriconnect focused on the aquaculture sector, directly addressing immediate and long-term operational challenges.
This season has expanded its reach across five key markets: the Philippines, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia, underscoring the company’s strong regional presence.
Agriconnect is a webinar series designed to empower livestock and aquaculture farmers by providing timely, relevant, and science-based insights. It is a platform for both existing and potential Aboitiz Foods customers to engage with renowned industry experts and gain practical knowledge that can be applied to enhance farm productivity and profitability.
Over 180 customers of Aboitiz Foods’ feed producer brands, Pilmico and Gold Coin, participated in the series, which combined the convenience of digital access with the value of in-person engagement, as the company’s teams hosted live viewing sessions and post-webinar consultations in multiple locations.
Tilapia and shrimp farming
The first episode of the second season centered on tilapia production, equipping farmers with practical approaches to enhance yields, strengthen disease prevention protocols, and improve overall farm performance.
The second episode focused on shrimp farming, offering more profound insights into health management, biosecurity, and innovative, systems-based farming approaches.
Participants consistently highlighted the value of discussions on disease management, which many considered a critical challenge in aquaculture operations.
Customers found the expert-led sessions to be not only informative but also actionable, providing them with tangible steps they could implement to protect animal health, reduce losses, and optimize production.
Integrated format
What sets Agriconnect apart is its integrated format. Beyond the webinars, attendees benefit from meaningful, face-to-face interactions with sales and technical specialists from Pilmico and Gold Coin.
These personalized consultations allow for a deep dive into customer-specific challenges, ensuring tailored solutions and a collaborative discussion on opportunities for improvement.
Through knowledge-sharing and fostering strong customer partnerships, Agriconnect reinforces Aboitiz Foods’ commitment to delivering long-term value beyond products and services.
“It reflects our value to keep our customers top of mind, dedicated to supporting our customers’ growth and resilience in an increasingly complex and competitive agricultural landscape,” the company stated.
