THE REAL MYCOTOXIN BIOMONITORING REFERENCE

Myco-Marker™ is a unique biomonitoring tool includes 36 different mycotoxin biomarkers, including emerging mycotoxins, to comprehensively cover total risk. Blood is collected using FTA cards to facilitate the sampling process on farms, requiring just one drop of blood per animal.

Strategy

Biomonitoring the mycotoxin exposure through blood with FTA cards and feed analysis to quantify the mycotoxin threat, followed by optimizing the mitigation strategy with Escent®.

Composition

  • Mixture of clays (including bentonite 1m558)
  • Yeast
  • Antioxidants
  • Hepatic and renal protectors

Application

Biomonitoring the mycotoxin exposure through blood with FTA cards and feed analysis to quantify the mycotoxin threat, followed by optimizing the mitigation strategy with Escent®.

Mode of Action

The Myco-Marker™ service has demonstrated its usefulness as a biomonitoring tool relating exposure to mycotoxins, present symptoms and performance. Escent® technology has several modes of action, all of which have been demonstrated in vivo:

  1. Support for the liver and kidneys
  2. Prevention of oxidative stress
  3. Elevates the immune response
  4. Increases detoxification and
  5. Adsorbs (myco)toxins: The ability to detoxify and reduce systemic exposure that has been demonstrated through biomarker analysis is especially remarkable.

Benefits

  • Easy sampling with just one drop of blood (~ 60μL)
  • Reduced animal invasiveness
  • Simplified sample transport and storage
  • No plasma separation required
  • No special procedures or tubes needed
