Innovad Group has announced the acquisition of Cinergis through its Brazilian subsidiary, Oligo Basics. The agreement, signed in Cascavel, Paraná, marks another milestone in the company’s expansion across Latin America. The transaction is expected to close on August 31, 2026.
Since acquiring Oligo Basics in 2024, Innovad has built a strong foothold in Brazil. Cinergis now adds complementary technologies, technical expertise, and manufacturing capabilities to this platform. Together, these strengths will accelerate Innovad’s growth ambitions in Brazil and across the wider region.
Cinergis is recognized for its innovative animal health and nutrition technologies, including BIOVERM and probiotic solutions targeting Salmonella spp. These products, supported by specialized application services, contribute to more sustainable animal production. They also align with Innovad’s mission to reduce reliance on chemical interventions and antibiotics.
Innovad CEO Ben Letor emphasized that Cinergis adds a powerful biotechnology platform to complement existing growth engines in biomonitoring and phytogenics. “Together, these platforms support our mission to reduce the use of chemicals and the overreliance on antibiotics in animal nutrition,” he said.
The acquisition also carries symbolic weight. Innovad recognized the legacy of Cinergis founding partner Gabriel Jorge Neto, whose entrepreneurial vision and commitment to innovation shaped the company’s success. His son, Caio Jorge, now CEO of Cinergis, highlighted the importance of continuing that legacy. “Joining Innovad allows us to honor my father’s lifelong commitment to Brazilian poultry farming by bringing the technologies he helped pioneer to new horizons,” he said.
This recognition underscores Innovad’s approach to integrating Cinergis not only as a business but also as a cultural and scientific partner. The company aims to unlock the full potential of Cinergis by combining its capabilities with Innovad’s global platform while working closely with the Cinergis team.
The transaction concludes a process of dialogue and shared vision-building between the organizations. Innovad directors for Brazil and Latin America, Letícia Montagneiro and Francis Chiossi, described the acquisition as a significant milestone in Innovad’s long-term strategy. They emphasized that combining complementary portfolios, technical expertise, and highly skilled teams strengthens Innovad’s platform for innovation, sustainable growth, and value creation.
The integration enhances Innovad’s ability to deliver differentiated solutions, create new opportunities for customers and partners, and reinforce its position as a leading reference in animal nutrition and health across Latin America.
Innovad, headquartered in Belgium, develops natural, science‑based solutions that improve animal well‑being and reduce environmental impact. Its portfolio spans biomonitoring, phytogenics, and now biotechnology through Cinergis.
Cinergis, based in Brazil, runs manufacturing units in Jaguariúna and Paulínia. It combines advanced automated production with efficiency and respect for nature, delivering integrated agribusiness solutions.
