NOVUS recently expanded its commercial team in Indonesia with the addition of veterinarians Hendri Ahadianto and Lucia Simanjuntak as Sales Managers.
Based in Jakarta, Mr Ahadianto and Ms Simanjuntak work with customers throughout Indonesia, bringing complementary experience in animal health, nutrition, feed additives, customer relationship management and technical evaluation.
Their expertise strengthens NOVUS’ ability to collaborate with feed mills, integrators, nutritionists and producers as poultry, swine and dairy customers navigate changing feed costs, raw-material variability and other production challenges.
Ms Simanjuntak’s expertise includes poultry nutrition and health, feed additive formulation, intestinal health risk management, and evaluating the technical and economic benefits of nutrition programs.
She works with customers to connect feed mill considerations with farm performance through formulation assessment, field trials, performance data and return-on-investment analysis.
“What I enjoy most is solving practical customer problems and seeing the results in the field,” said Ms Simanjuntak.
“Indonesia’s animal agriculture industry faces changing feed ingredients, production pressures and animal health challenges, so continuous learning and strong customer relationships are essential. I look forward to combining technical knowledge with NOVUS resources to help customers develop practical feeding programs that deliver measurable value.”
Mr Ahadianto brings nearly 20 years of animal health industry experience, with particular strengths in communication, leadership and relationship building. In his role, he combines those skills with business analysis to understand customers’ challenges and identify practical options for their operations.
“After many years in animal health, joining NOVUS gives me an opportunity to take on a new challenge and expand my experience in animal nutrition,” Mr Ahadianto said.
“Building close relationships is important to me. I want to understand each customer’s business and work alongside them to find practical solutions to the challenges they face.”
Rika Riantika, Senior Regional Sales Manager, said the different backgrounds of her two newest colleagues strengthen the support NOVUS can provide customers in Indonesia.
“Lucia and Hendri bring valuable but complementary experience to our team,” said Ms Riantika.
“Hendri’s extensive animal health background, business perspective and ability to build strong customer relationships pair well with Lucia’s experience in animal health, nutrition solutions and technical evaluation. Together, they strengthen our ability to understand what customers are facing and connect them with the expertise and resources available through NOVUS.”
Before joining NOVUS, Ms Simanjuntak served as Sales Manager for Western Indonesia with Huvepharma Animal Health Indonesia. She also served as Business Manager for Western Indonesia with Evonik Indonesia. She earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
Mr Ahadianto previously served as a Strategic Account Manager with Elanco Animal Health. He also held sales and technical roles with Zoetis, Pfizer Animal Health, and Romindo Primavetcom. He earned his veterinary degree from Airlangga University in Surabaya, Indonesia.
