Novus, the leader in intelligent nutrition, has announced a new source of organic trace mineral nutrition available for the animal agriculture industry.
RELYZANT™ Bis-Chelated Trace Mineral is the next-generation bis-chelate from the company.
Available in zinc, copper, and manganese, the mineral is bound by two lactic acid ligands, forming a stable, neutral molecule that maintains integrity across changes in pH in the gut and interactions with other parts of the diet, ultimately resulting in more mineral being accessible to the animal.
Known for its MINTREX® Bis-Chelated Trace Minerals, Novus officials said this latest innovation makes bis-chelated technology more widely available.

“With more than 500 research trials demonstrating its efficacy, MINTREX® Bis-Chelated Trace Minerals has defined the standard for trace mineral performance. It was designed over 20 years ago for diets that benefit from methionine source HMTBa, a key ingredient. We recognize that many customers today prioritize mineral concentration and flexibility. RELYZANT™ provides the same authentic bis-chelate protection and superior absorption without methionine.”
Nutritionists will appreciate this new concentrated source of organic trace mineral that offers formulation flexibility.
“RELYZANT™ delivers the same trusted performance as MINTREX® but with higher mineral concentration,” said Tracy Rode, Novus Research Scientist, who helped develop the new bis-chelated mineral.

RELYZANT™ is now available in Mexico and will be available later this year in other markets.
