Thai Union strengthens leadership team to accelerate Strategy 2030

Ratiporn Ratcharoen

As Chief Financial Officer, Ms Ratcharoen will lead Thai Union’s financial strategy and operations across the enterprise, with a mandate to build a more forward-looking, disciplined and data-driven finance function.

She will focus on strengthening performance management, improving capital allocation, modernizing forecasting and business intelligence, and enabling faster, better decision-making across the group.

She joins Thai Union with senior finance leadership experience across Osotspa, East-West Seed, Diageo, PepsiCo and Minor International, including Group CFO roles and responsibility for financial strategy, capital allocation, governance and transformation. Her experience includes leading shared services and ERP transformation initiatives.

Ms Ratiporn succeeds Ludovic Garnier, who will take the role of Managing Director, Finance, for Thai Union’s Ambient Branded business.

Daniel Laverick

As Chief Digital Officer, Mr Laverick will drive Thai Union’s enterprise-wide digital and technology agenda, with a mandate to accelerate the company’s transformation into a more digitally enabled, data-driven and AI-ready organization.

He will focus on modernizing technology platforms, scaling automation and advanced analytics, and ensuring digital capabilities support sustainable growth, operational excellence and better customer experiences globally.

He brings more than 25 years of experience in enterprise digital transformation and has held senior leadership roles at Etihad Airport Services, Zuellig Pharma and Albatha Group.

He has led the technology separation of Etihad Airport Services (now operating as Velora), overseen major SAP S/4HANA transformations, and built digital and data platforms that improved operations, automation and decision-making across complex businesses.

Sumit Narang

As Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, Mr Narang will work closely with the CEO and business leaders to translate Strategy 2030 into execution across Thai Union’s business units, identify growth opportunities and drive transformation across the group.

He joins with more than 20 years of experience across Walmart, McKinsey & Company and C.K. Birla Group. At Walmart, he led global sourcing strategy across more than 70 countries.

Earlier in his career, he advised senior leaders on strategy, operations and due diligence in global roles spanning the US, Europe and Asia.

These appointments support Thai Union’s ambition to become the world’s leading marine health and nutrition company.
